Identificado como "ReelDeadOne", o internauta revelou, de início, qual foi a motivação dele para realizar a contagem. "Todos sabem que 'Brave New World' (2000) é um álbum incrível, mas, cara, as letras repetem muito. Conversando com outros fãs, ouvi o argumento de que eles sempre fizeram isso, a exemplo de 'Running Free' ou 'Heaven Can Wait'. Sim, mas nunca achei que seria tão ruim como em 'Brave New World', então, resolvi contar", declarou.

O fã utilizou um critério simples para sua análise: foram consideradas todas as frases com três palavras ou mais que se repetem seis vezes ou mais ao longo das letras. O estudo contou com todas as músicas da discografia oficial de estúdio da banda - exceção feita ao disco "Senjutsu" (2021), que ainda não foi lançado.

Foi descoberto na pesquisa que "Brave New World" é, na verdade, o segundo álbum mais repetitivo do Iron Maiden em termos de letras. O "campeão" nesse sentido é justamente seu antecessor, "Virtual XI" (1998), precedido por outros dois discos da década de 90: "Fear of the Dark" (1992), em terceiro, e "The X Factor" (1995), em quarto.

Os trabalhos que menos repetem trechos líricos são do início da carreira do grupo. "Killers" (1981) é o último da lista, tendo "The Number of the Beast" (1982) como penúltimo e "Powerslave" (1984) em antepenúltimo.
