Compridas: As músicas mais longas de grandes bandas

O Rock, em sua origem, era marcado por músicas de estruturas simples, em faixas que dificilmente duravam mais que 3 minutos. Porém, com sua evolução e surgimento de novas vertentes, em especial o Rock Progressivo, as músicas tornaram-se mais elaboradas, aumentando consideravelmente a duração de cada faixa.

Músicas mais longas abrem espaço para longas viagens instrumentais, grandes solos e em geral são uma mostra da capacidade técnica e do feeling dos músicos, uma vez que ninguém irá até o final de uma faixa longa se ela soar cansativa. A longa duração de uma canção não é garantia de que a mesma seja uma boa música, em alguns casos chegam a ser extremamente monótonas, mas na maioria das vezes são experiências únicas, que te levam a viajar sem sair do lugar.
