O Encyclopaedia Metallum: The Metal Archives é a maior enciclopédia metal do mundo. Criado em 2022, o site tem mais de 150.000 bandas de metal cadastradas, e uma comunidade ativa de cerca de 100.000 usuários, sendo de longe a maior referência em informação sobre o gênero. Iron Maiden? One man band da Bósnia? Quem sabe uma banda de black metal da Indonésia com gosto peculiar para fotos promocionais? Não importa, se é metal e tem um disco lançado, provavelmente estará no Metal Archives.

Blind Guardian - Mais Novidades

Anualmente a comunidade do site participa de uma votação dos melhores discos do ano. Além de não terem rabo preso com ninguém, por tratar-se de um grupo global que consome música como poucos, sempre aparece alguma surpresa interessante entre os mais bem colocados. Cada usuário participante enviou uma lista com seus dez discos preferidos em ordem de preferência, que receberam de 1 a 25 pontos. Este ano a votação teve participação recorde, e ao todo 811 álbuns foram escolhidos, e embora fora do top 100, tivemos alguns nomes brasileiros como Krisiun e The Troops of Doom.
