Estreia do King Crimson, "In the Court of the Crimson King" é uma das obras que ajudou a formatar o contexto do rock progressivo. O trabalho misturava elementos de rock, jazz e música clássica.

Nas gravações, o grupo foi comandado pelo guitarrista Robert Fripp, único a ter participado de todas as suas formações. Completavam o lineup o multi-instrumentista e cantor Ian MacDonald, o baixista e vocalista Greg Lake, o baterista Michael Giles e o letrista Peter Sinfield.

Ativa desde maio de 1997, a Uncut é distribuída em todos os países onde o inglês é a língua-pátria. Desde agosto de 2023 é publicada pelo grupo midiático Kelsey Media. A tiragem física gira em torno de 48 mil exemplares por edição. Também há a possibilidade de adquiri-la para leitura em formato digital.
