Entre 1969 e 1971, o Mott The Hoople gravou quatro álbuns para a Island Records. Toda a produção da época estará nos 6 CDs da box-set Mental Train: The Island Years 1969-1971, que a Universal colocará no mercado, dia 2 de novembro.

Os 4 primeiros CDs trarão cada álbum, mais lados B e outtakes. O quinto disco trará material inédito garimpado dos arquivos da gravadora e o sexto, material ao vivo.
